Jesus Made Me

Jesus made the flowers,
He made the buzzing bees,
He made the sun to warm my face,

He made the shady trees.
Jesus made all wondrous things my little eyes can see.
Jesus made the Universe and

Jesus

Made
Me.

Thank you to this photographer for the bee on the flower,
to this photographer for the boy enjoying the sunshine to this photographer for the shady trees to this photographer for the toddler with the sparkling eyes, to this photographer for the image of the universe, and to his parents for the little boy eating watermelon. Poem by Donnell Allan.

Carrots are amazing!
Crunch. Crunch. Crunch.
You dig them from the ground!
Crunch. Crunch. Crunch.
They're orange and they taste good!
Crunch. Crunch. Crunch.
They make a crunching sound!

Shapes at the Animal Fair

I looked for some shapes at the animal fair,
And I found lots of triangles most ev'rywhere.
A triangle nose was just right for a cat,
And so were the triangle wings of the bat.

A cow had one smack on the snout of her face,
And a Dachshund pup had them all over
the place.
The Dalmatian had two: one her eye, one her ear,
And the mantis' whole head was one, when I got near.

When the triangle-armed kangaroo made me stare,
I thought it was time that I looked for a square.

So I ran and I searched 'til my face was all red,
But I found just one dog with a square for a head.

Two circles I
found-- then my car, if you please.

Like the round dog and cat I cu
rled up for some zeez.

Thank you to this photographer for the cow with the triangle on its snout, to this photographer for the cat with the triangle nose,, to this photographer for the dog curled up into a circle, to this photographer for the square-headed dog, to this photographer for Gina the dachshund of many triangles, to this photographer for the triangular kangaroo, to this photographer for the cat curled up into a circle, to this photographer for the triangular mantis, to this photographer for the bat and to this photographer for the sleeper on the blue car. Guess my Treat

dia das crianças..
Originally uploaded by jojocake

There is something special that I like to eat.
It's creamy. It's dreamy. It's my fav'rite treat.
My mom says it's "dairy" and comes from a cow;
Like ice cream and milk do, but I don't see how.
It's raspberry, strawberry, cherry and lime,
And I like to eat it most all of the time.
So cool and so smooth; from a bowl or a cup;
I scoop with my spoon and soon eat it all up.

Do you know what it is?
Do you like it, too?
Come over to my house;
I'll share some with you.

Push or Ride?

Sometimes I like to make things go,
Sometimes to be inside.

Which is the most fun, do you think:

To push a cart, or ride?

My Delicious Day

Alone Time
Originally uploaded by lewisriley

One day I ate breakfast and ran outside
And I played in the pink of the dawn.

I stayed and I played 'til the sun was high,
Then I lunched on the prickly lawn.

And on still I played in the evening shade;
And I dined when the sun was gone.

Then under the moon and the stars, in the cool,
I just drank up the night and played on.

When finally worn out and headed for bed,
As I swallowed my milk with a yawn,

I so happily thought of the delicious day
I'd be building my dreams all upon.
